We can make a Japanese-style room in the part of your room.
It is not exaggerated, though.
If we usually use transport of the ship when we send genuine Tatami from Japan, it will take time. Furthermore, it is said that it costs about 2,000 dollars expense in six pieces of rates.
In the tatami mat which we handle, it is lightweight goods called Oki-datami.
And the quality of this tatami mat is the same as a genuine tatami mat.
Though this is half size of the normal tatami mat, we can send this by airmail.
And, as for the expense, setting is possible with a half.
As for the greatest characteristic of this Oki-datami, it can make a Japanese-style room anywhere.
In other words it is not fixed. Therefore, you can move a Japanese-style room by a feeling.

By the way, your room approaches the Japanese-style room still more when you put Chabudai or Zataku if you install a tatami mat.
Chabudai was a symbol of pleasures of a happy home in Japan of the old times. But Chabudai became the popularity goods which felt nostalgia in the present. And we have about 20 kinds Chabudai or Zataku.
However, Chabudai made in Japan has become the high-quality goods. Therefore, as for much Cabudai and Zataku, they are made now in Vietnam and Southeast Asia. But we handle Chabudai made in Japan.

please hope that you make a Japanese-style room with your preference.
And we write it about Zabuton, Zaisu, on the next time. And we add it about the noren.

We talked about a method to make a Japanese-style room easily by Oki-tatami last time.
Some your rooms transform themselves into the room of the Japanese style when they put Tatami and a Chabudai table.
But we think that you have a still unsatisfactory sense only in this.
It had better have Zabuton in your room.
However, it is a cost side to send Zabuton from Japan and becomes slightly expensive. 　Therefore we suggest it. As for it, as for you, one buying only Zabuton cover is cheap.

You please recommend that you look for the cushion of the type to match such Zabuton cover in living shop or Home Center in your town. The size of Japanese general Zabuton is 21.7 inches x23.2 inch.

Furthermore, you please put a table Zataku if you think your room to want to do it like a Japanese hotel. And please install Zaisu. Your room may make an atmosphere such as the Japanese style hotel with this.
The basic tool to show a Japanese-style room your room in this was put. And you must decorate it more from now on. we write it on the next time.

there is a Japanese-style bar restaurant called “Izakaya” in Japan. They treat us with the Japanese living room style that can be relaxed. It is space called ” Zashiki “. Therefore I drink liquor with a friend, and we enjoy it.

In Japan, the home party is not so prosperous. However, we go in Izakaya and sometimes perform a party called “Enkai”. We perform Enkai with the fellow worker of the company. Or we perform with our friend.

Izakaya cares about tableware. The most use the ceramics of a traditional style made in Japan. It pleases us very much.
Space in Izakaya and the tableware are important items deciding the reputation of the Izakaya restaurant like taste of the cooking.

In Japan, liquor to drink at the time of dinner is called “Banshaku”.
The people liking liquor want to go in Izakaya almost every day, but then money does not continue. Therefore it is often that they enjoy liquor and foods at home.

Japanese many middle age men like Banshaku. . . It may be said that time when they eat a dish in accord with liquor and it is time of the supreme bliss.
It is said that the Japanese liking to drink tends to make cooking.
The reason is simple. . . They eat a delicious thing and want to drink delicious liquor.

They want to spend happy time in Bannshaku. Therefore the person who sometimes really runs Izakaya appears. Such people are strict in a kind of the liquor and a kind of the tableware.
However, it is to make a good atmosphere that they think most momentously. we think that this way of thinking becomes the source of Izakaya.

The biggest charm of the tatami room is variety of the use. it use every day as space in a living room. And it becomes the bedroom. Or sometimes use it as a guest room. it use as the space that the Japanese old house decorates a Buddhism altar, and is dedicated to ancestors.
it can utilize the tatami room in a multi-purpose in this way.
Furthermore, the Japanese-style room has a Japanese unique atmosphere settled down. It will be to let it make you a relaxation feeling.
Because house space is not produced greatly, in the Japanese-style room of the urban region in particular, the room is used variously as multipurpose space.

In a Japanese Western-style house, many people seem to want to have a tatami room in it about one room. There are many people hoping that it wants traditional Japanese emotion.
The making of modernistic Japanese-style room which it is easy to use is demanded from the recent Japanese house.
There is not fixed furniture in the tatami room. It is the characteristic of the tatami room that it can make how to use freely.
You had better not put the furniture as much as possible to make a Japanese-style room look beautiful. On the other hand, one setting up personal ornaments will be better.

The Japanese enjoys emotion of the space.

Many Japanese love to bathe.
There are public baths in many Japanese cities. . . They are called Sentou.
The traditional Sentou are decreasing in currant Japan.
On the other hand, public baths called Super Sentou have increased in many local Japanese cities. The Super Sentou baths are amusement-style bath.

In Japan most Japanese houses have bath (furo) now.
And even if the Japanese had bath in their houses, there are many people who go to public bath to enjoy a large bath only for the change it and to enjoy a relaxing moment.

Japanese facilities are different from western style and are installed so that the toilet is separated from the bath (ofuro).

Many Japanese like to afford long-time relaxation in ofuro (Bath).

In Japan there is also Japanese Onsen where peoplego for relaxation. They will also go for therapeutic purposes in diseases or injuries. For the Japanese Onsen is a necessary good for their physical well-being and mental. Therefore it is no exaggeration to say that it is part of the entertainment of the Japanese.

And the Japanese use therapeutic sets at home in order to have the same feeling as the Onsen in their own baths.

We want to introduce this type of therapeutic bath this time.

The baths sets we offer are made to be mixed to your bath tub water.
The products come in powder, granules (salt) and liquides.

Our products are classified into three categories

1. Extracts from natural plants and Chinese Medicine.
This all comes from ancient times. The aim is to treat the body, so the Japanese of old time put the herbs in the ofuro. The mixture of Chinese medicine and herbs together was called “Yakuyu”. The “Yakuyu” was intended and used for the treatment of skin diseases (dermatopathia) in the Edo era.

In Japan, it is an old tradition to put an iris or a lemon in the ofuro to pray for good health.

2. Extracts of Japanese hot springs substrate.
Yunohana is an ingredient in hot springs thermal bath Japanese.
Yunohana is a prosperous place for Onsen. This is a very representative.
This kit includes a substance and sulphur or a metal sulphide.
However, it is possible to damage the bathroom when using this product.

3. Extract and combination of inorganic salts.
It is the product most widespread in Japan. He appeared at the beginning of the Showa era. Many people went to the bathhouse at first because they did not have bath (ofuro) at home.

Therefore, it was popularized and charge to people for care packages of bath and facial.

The baths (Ofuro) were then widening into Japanese common houses. With it, the sets of body care grew rapidly, too. It is the combination of carbon dioxide combined with enzymes, etc…

The main ingredient that house bath sets is usually made in a type of powdered sulphate sodium. In addition, they include calcium sulphate, calcium carbonate and oxide of titanium. The effects of its products give the skin a soft touch.

There are also packages that combine the sodium carbonate recently. It is made to be dissolved carbon dioxide in hot water and bubbles.

In addition, all combine many enzymes and plant extracts to be sold in order to increase the effect of good health.

History of Chabudai

In fact, the history of the model of Chabudai is very old. It was a table called Kouhai.(高杯) Kouhai changed on a small table to use it with an individual called Zen(膳) after the Heian era.(794-1192)

It was a complete class society in old Japan. Therefore, all japanese did not have a custom that people ate at the same table for a long period.

Therefore, Zen (膳) completely spread in the Edo era(1603-1868).

It was called Meimei-zen(銘銘膳). Meimei-zen gained a leg of a tray of the transportation.

In the days of Edo, the old Japanese ate in Meimei-zen at home. . . However, new culture was introduced by Western since it was the Meiji era(1869-1912). And tables were imported by Japan. The table was not received to a Japanese easily at first. However, the new government of the Meiji era pushed forward the modernization by the policy of the country.

A lot of tables which added a leg to be able to fold to appeared at the middle of the Meiji era. It may be said that this is a beginning of Chabudai.

We use our pillow every day. And pillows are always come in contact with our body. Therefore, its maintenance becomes very important.
That’s why I write about the maintenance of the pillow this time.
About the buckwheat scale pillow which is a Japanese traditional pillow.
You must not wash the pillow of the buckwheat scale in water. Therefore, we recommend that you dry your pillow on a daily base at the sun. This pillow is made with material which is easy to have insects in. We can easily protect against the insect by simply drying it by the sun. You please do not beat the pillow when you make it dry, because it creates buckwheat scale powder and it will comes out when you beat it. The pillow of this material is easy to come to gain in particular a rice weevil insect.

About a bamboo charcoal pillow

In Japan, it is said that the bamboo charcoal is good for health.
It is used in different situations in diverse ways.
Charcoal bamboo has many openings and because of this attribute it is capable of eliminating odors quickly. In addition, the bamboo charcoal is very effective also to absorb water. Therefore, the bamboo charcoal pillow absorbs more sweat during sleep than any other pillow. It is superior in the dispersion of moisture.
The basic function of bamboo charcoal is the effect of adsorption of acid gases and creates a lot of anions which gives a very comfortable sleep.
About his maintenance, it is recommended to dry it to the sun.
However, this pillow is not a medical pillow. Although there are beneficial effects, the influence will be very small quantity with its use.

Did you ever slept in a Futon?

Possibly you may have borrowed a mattress if you had the experience to come to Japan. . . How about you?

If you slept in Futon, it is a good experience of Japanese cultures. In addition, you experienced sense of incongruity at the same time. Because Japanese spread Futon on a tatami mat. Therefore, Futon have elasticity unlike the mattress. Futon is the elasticity that is more firm than the mattress.

Futon which mixed chemical fibers such as the polyester with more than 50% cotton.
This will be futon used most in Japan and East Asia.
Other, Futon which used wool and a part of cotton. Futon which mixed 50% wool and fiber except the wool by the volume ratio.
Futon which it used 100% cotton was old Japanese general Futon. Unfortunately they are hardly produced now.
As for it, material and the price are certainly reflected.
The sense when people sleep will have nothing to do with the price.

The element which is important for futon is easiness of sleep of Futon. It is not only flexibility.
The good sense of futon is decided by three following points.

1. Temperature in the futon.
2. Moisture.
